Dear Faithful Praying Family & Friends,
I know many of you are keeping track of my Chemo Schedule and are praying mightily for Round 3. Well, you have an extra week in which to pray because Chemo Round 3 is delayed by eight days: Round 3 will be Tuesday, November 17. The reason for this delay: I had an echocardiogram scheduled for November 4 but it was rescheduled for Tuesday, November 10. Dr. Carroll needs the results of this test before proceeding with Chemo Round 3.
The delay of Chemo Round 3 will fit into my schedule nicely, to allow me optimal healthy days, during December 7, 8, & 9th, when my daughter, Haley, will fly out to be with me and we will go to the Messiah Sing! If you are in Tallahassee, see www.tallahasseemusicguild.com for details. Please pray for safe travel for Haley, to and from Waco, TX.
Dr. Carroll is also willing to schedule Chemo Round 4 so that I will feel normal & healthy for Christmas Eve, when our family [including Daniel, Haley, and Benjamin] will attend St. Peter’s Anglican Church for the Evening Worship Service. Joy!
Thank you for your care & concern, for reading this blog, for commenting, for your snail-mail, email, phone calls, gifts, and for all your many expressions of love & affection. And always, always, thanks for your continuing prayers!
Next weekend, I will post another installment in my Heroes series, with photographs!

Praise the Lord for such a wonderful Dr. to schedule your treatments so that you can enjoy your holiday plans!
I agree! There are so many events that I enjoy during Advent through Epiphany but I had to choose priorities!
Thanks for your friendship and prayers.
I thank God for you! I love how you have allowed us into this experience with you; thank you for this.
“Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs of Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Paul to the Romans, 8:17
I am so thankful that we have a God who understands our suffering, and who allows us to share in His glory.
Thank you for your friendship and your prayers. I especially appreciate the Scripture you share with me: I read and re-read them and I am refreshed and renewed in my resolve to “suffer well.”
“For I know that my Redeemer liveth.”
Dear, sweet Margo. How uplifting it is to read your messages! I pray that God will continue to use you in such a mighty way, reaching the hearts of others for His glory. When you feel low and unable to lift yourself up in praise, think of all of us who talk with Him more often because of your having lifted us up to Him in your clearer moments!! You are His servant and an example to us all.
I deeply appreciate your encouraging words and your prayers. As I am about to enter into my low period, with my “un-clear moments,” I will depend upon your prayers and loving reminders!
I am still looking forward to the Annual Marquis Christmas Party, a definite highlight of the season! I may not be able to eat anything [2 days after Chemo Four Round] but just seeing YOU will boost my spirit!
