Dear Faithful Praying Family & Friends:
Be sure and read the Bonus Blog, underneath this one! It has photos that I think you will enjoy!
Update: Chemo Round 2 is going better than Chemo Round 1! I have managed to stay out of the ER and, although I have been sick as a dog this past week, it has been manageable! I was able to go to the Greek Food Festival for a few moments, ate a gyro, suffered later for it, but still thought it was worth it, after fasting most of the week. I was able also to participate in Soup Group tonight. Thanks, once again, for praying!
Stephen read this Scripture to me, from Fr. Michael Petty’s Sermon this morning:
2 Corinthians 2: 16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Please pray for me, that I would see beyond this “momentary light affliction,” that the Triune God would produce in me an “eternal weight of glory,” and that I would see beyond this temporal life, to the promise of eternal life.
Coram Deo,
Margo
You are in my thoughts dear friend. Courage and silent strength is what I see. – s
Susan van Hoeij, I presume? Thanks for reading, commenting, and praying! I don’t feel strong this weak: days 4-10 after chemo are horrid. I defintely need continued prayers!
Margo – you weighted heavily in my thoughts this weekend and then I saw your post on FB – linking me back to your blog. God answered my prayer to connect with you and to know how brave you are during this physically horrible time.
I am going to the healing service tomorrow and will pray for you.
Susan
Dear Holy Father,
In the face of the difficulties and suffering involved in this treatment, please let Your holy face shine upon Margo. From Your face, let your holy healing grace, life, peace flow to her. Lift up Your countenance upon her as she looks to You and seeks Your comfort, consolation, closeness, words of peace and hope. Please just hold her in Your arms.
We ask that You would cause Your Cross, Body, Blood to avail for Margo to buffer, soothe, mediate, anoint, bless and direct every medication, procedure, decision and action for her best benefit.
Please guard and keep her, spirit, soul and body.
Thank you, dear Abba Father for Your endless boundless efficacious healing love for Margo and for all of us. Thank you that we can live and make our true home in You, in Your word of love, truth, life and light, in Your heart and among Your true disciples.
Thank you that you are able to do more than we could ever ask or think. To You alone, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, be glory in Your Church.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
Dear Georgia,
Once again, you grace the “pages” of this blog with your thoughts and prayers, infused with the encouragement of a stalwart friend and refined by the fires of suffering.
I eagerly read your thoughts & comments and re-read them. The words sustain and nurture me in my affliction.
I was able to go to SPAC but missed seeing you, my dear friend!
Coram Deo,
Margo
Margo dear,
I am so glad that this 2nd session of chemo went much better. It gives me strength to know you are doing well. You remain in my thoughts and prayers. I know God is with both of us and we have been blessed.
My Dear Nellie!

Thank you for continuing to pray for me and be assured of my faithful prayers on behalf of you and Paula.
